What's it all about ?

Boxercise is an exercise class based on the training concepts boxers use to keep fit. It is aimed at men and women of all ages and fitness levels to strengthen your body right from the core. As no class involves the physical hitting of an opponent it is challenging, safe and more importantly a fun way of keeping fit. Boxercise has been around as a fitness class since the 90’s but since then is seen in much wider fitness class formats i.e. circuit training, aerobic, boot camps and advanced classes.

What do i wear ?

No need for baggy shorts, boxer boots or head guards! All boxing equipment is supplied but you are welcome to bring you own gloves or mitts if you have them. Basically wear what you feel comfortable carrying out exercise in, trainers, t-shirt, shorts or jogging bottoms.

Is it for me ?

The most important factor for us is that Boxercise is carried out in a safe manner and that you get the most out of it, whether you’re looking for a hard workout, burning calories or just some good stress relief, Boxercise covers many bases. Whatever you are looking for we guarantee you will take something positive away

Although some people attending the class may have experienced some type of boxing training or contact sport, it is not a necessity and also it is possible that these people may have to adapt to Boxercise as some of the techniques have been changed for safety purposes to reduce risk of injury in the class.

Over the early weeks, as well as learning the official Boxercise training pattern and of course get a great workout, you should also gain the confidence to try some of our more demanding classes! So, “ is it for me”? come and find out?

Stress buster!

Boxercise is a great way to release stress and aggression in a controlled manner, even though there is no physical contact it enables you to feel in full control of your body and in turn brings greater self-belief and self-esteem. We have all felt the need to release some stress at some point in our lives, so why not suppress the build-up of anxiety or stress by making Boxercise a way of life or part of your regular weekly training regime.

Personal Training

If you would prefer not to be involved in a class environment then maybe personal training is what you are looking for? The extra value you may get from the personal training is the opportunity to pick the punch combinations up at your own speed and whether you are a beginner or someone looking for an advanced work out the session can be worked out for your individual needs. There are a number of advanced skills to learn with Muhammad Ali Boxing Training and Ali Pro Speed Pads available, the options are there to really develop your skills.
